Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist in South Manchester on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role is hands-on, split 50/50 between high-volume AP processing and management accounting support.

Ideal candidates will have strong double-entry bookkeeping, solid Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems; Syspro is a noted advantage. This is an in-person, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a Finance Assistant/Accounts/ Purchase Ledger role.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journals and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end reporting or management accounts.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable processing, payment runs and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation and journals.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Payroll data collation support and associated reconciliations.
