Job summary

Partners in Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Hemel Hempstead to help adults with learning disabilities and autism live life their way. The role offers flexible hours including some evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with training and ongoing supervision to ensure you feel supported and valued.

No prior social care experience is required as full training will be provided; you will join a compassionate, values-led team committed to dignity and respect. Permanent contract available.

Qualifications

Must be able to empower people and support independence.
Approach to care with kindness, respect and patience.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and on sleep‑ins.
Driver licence (UK) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Help clients build confidence, independence and new skills.
Assist with community access and participation in activities.
