Job summary

The Manor Hospital in Bedford, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Painter and Decorator for bank shifts in the Operations department. The role covers internal and external painting, touch-ups and fabric refurbishment on an as-and-when-required basis.

The position requires CSCS card, Pasma/Ladder training, ability to hang various wall coverings, and a methodical, self-driven approach with COSHH and health & safety compliance. Competitive hourly rate and flexible staffing support.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card at appropriate level is required.
• Pasma/Ladder use training.
• Ability to hang all types and styles of wall coverings (wide width, fabric and paper backed).
• Ability to work under own initiative in a methodical manner.
• COSHH regulations understood and followed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Painting and Decorating service to Circle Health Group facilities, covering internal and external areas.
• Provide touch up and refurbishment on reactive and rolling programmes.
• Advise on redecoration and fabric repair requirements across facilities.
• Ensure redecoration complies with Circle Health Group lease obligations.
• Complete all relevant mandatory training.
