Job summary

The Manor Hospital in Bedford is seeking a Painter and Decorator on a bank basis to support the Operations team. The role covers painting and decorating across Circle Health Group facilities, with additional touch ups and fabric refurbishment tasks as needed.

Applicants should hold a CSCS card and be trained on Pasma/Ladder use, with experience hanging various wall coverings. This position offers an hourly rate and requires compliance with mandatory training and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card at required level.
• Trained on high working, Pasma/Ladder use.
• Ability to hang wall coverings (fabric, paper, etc.).
• Understanding of COSHH regulations.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines and applicable law.
• Must comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Provide painting and decorating service for Circle Health Group facilities, internal and external.
• Perform touch ups and fabric refurbishment on reactive and rolling programmes.
• Advise on redecoration and fabric repair requirements.
• Ensure redecoration complies with Circle Health Group lease obligations.
