Job summary

Selwood Ltd in the UK is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join the Conwy branch, covering the surrounding region. You will perform pump maintenance at both the branch and customer sites, while applying PPE and recording signatures to ensure tasks are completed correctly.

This role operates on a call-out rota with standby allowance and excellent overtime payment; base salary is £38,515 with potential to £44,523, with earnings varying by overtime and allowances.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with engines or a mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in a plant environment, on-site with customers and in a workshop is beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less).

Responsibilities

• Work safely as a priority with knowledge of PPE requirements.
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers.
• Obtain signatures/names from sites for task processing.
• Maintain housekeeping; keep vehicles and work areas clean.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports for safety.
• Carry out tasks as instructed or per training promptly.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
