Job summary

Selwood Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join our team. You will perform diesel engine and pump maintenance on customer sites and in the branch workshop, prioritising safety and PPE compliance.

The role offers a base salary of £38,515 with potential earnings up to £54,055, plus overtime, call-out payments and allowances, with variations depending on overtime availability and circumstances. Interviews will cover these details.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with engines or a mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in a plant environment, on site with customers and in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diesel engine and pump maintenance on customers sites and in the branch workshop.
• Work safely as a priority and adhere to PPE requirements.
• Communicate accurately with work colleagues and customers.
• Obtain signatures and names from sites to ensure task processing.
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and well organised.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety.
• Follow given instructions and training to perform tasks timely.
• Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
