Job summary

Philosophy Education’s Greenwich-based secondary school is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant for an on-call role to support students during the school day and help them re-engage with learning. The position offers full-time hours or flexible arrangements.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SEN or SEMH, maintain a calm, professional approach to behaviour management, and work closely with pastoral and SEN teams to ensure smooth reintegration into lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEN or SEMH needs.

• Able to respond quickly and effectively in live situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call behaviour alerts throughout the school.
• Support students in emotional regulation and de-escalation.
• Work closely with pastoral and SEN teams.
• Encourage smooth reintegration of students back into lessons.
