Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work on-call at a large Greenwich secondary school.

The role supports students displaying challenging behaviour or SEMH needs and involves calmly removing students from lessons, regulating emotions, and helping them return to learning promptly. You will be part of the pastoral/SEN teams, with responsibilities across on-call alerts, de-escalation, and reintegration support, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Calm, professional approach to behaviour management.
• Confident in working independently and responding to situations in real time.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call behaviour alerts throughout the school.
• Support students in emotional regulation and de-escalation.
• Work closely with pastoral and SEN teams.
• Encourage a smooth reintegration of students back into lessons.
