Job summary

Beighton is seeking a Neighbourhood Support Officer for the Older Persons Independent Living Service in Sheffield. The role centers on managing the reception at Buchanan Green, with additional general office tasks and possible visits to OPIL sites across the city.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous for carrying out checks and travel. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong customer service skills, capable of managing their workload

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage own workload and work in a team.
• Proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Reasonable IT skills (MS Office) and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Cover the reception desk at Buchanan Green retirement living building.
• Carry out general office administration for the OPIL service.
• Undertake health and safety checks at OPIL buildings across the city (driving may be required).
• Support older and vulnerable people to live independently and age well.
