University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham is seeking a Band 3 Therapy Support Worker in the older people's therapy team at the Good Hope site. The role involves delegated clinical tasks, initial screening and referrals within an agreed caseload, in an acute setting.

You will work 22.5 hours per week on a 7-day service, with Care Certificate required or to be pursued. This role supports physiotherapy and occupational therapy and collaborates with the MDT.

Qualifikationen

• GCSEs including English and maths.
• A level / NVQ 3 / BTEC or NVQ 2 with care experience, or equivalent.
• Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
• Relevant therapy, health or social care experience.
• Ability to work in a team and understand multi-disciplinary settings.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

Aufgaben

• Deliver delegated aspects of clinical intervention without direct supervision.
• Manage an agreed caseload under supervision of registered therapists.
• Complete initial screening assessments with guidance and training.
• Support discharge or transfer of care with the wider MDT.
• Support therapy delivery in the relevant clinical area.
• Make referrals to other agencies as required.
• Take part in the 7-day working service.
