Turning Point is seeking an experienced Service Manager – Ofsted Registered to lead our supported accommodation for young people across Chorley and Leyland. You will ensure high standards of quality, safety and leadership in services registered with Ofsted.

You will recruit and develop teams, oversee safeguarding, handle budgets, audits and compliance, and work with commissioners to secure sustainable, person-centered outcomes. Strong communication and change-management skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager.
• Experience with young people, ideally in supported accommodation or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and statutory frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing quality, compliance and inspections.
• Strong people leadership skills with ability to coach, challenge and develop teams.
• Clear, confident communication that blends support with challenge.
• Commitment to reflection, learning and service improvement.
• Experience leading teams through change, even when it is complex or uncomfortable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure full compliance with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations and Ofsted Quality Standards.
• Lead high-quality services that are consistently safe, effective, and inspection-ready.
• Recruit, develop, and retain teams through safe recruitment, induction and coaching.
• Manage budgets, spend, agency usage and housing benefit income while balancing sustainability.
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, service observations and quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate, secure records with clear audit trails.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and community agencies.
• Oversee referrals, move-in procedures and move-on planning.
