It is an exciting time to join Associated Wellbeing as we are an ever-growing company who is expanding its portfolio of residential homes for children, which in turn brings new and exciting opportunities for our workforce. At the current time we have two registered services, with two more awaiting registration, which are anticipated to open early in July 2025. Our homes are based in Burnley, Bacup and Preston. Associated Wellbeing are in a privileged position to have our own multi-disciplinary team in house, which includes our Consultant Psychologist, DBT therapists, Occupational Therapist and Social Workers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to join our team. As a Registered Children's Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well‑being of children in our new home in Longridge. This is a rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of child care professionals.
  • Develop and implement care plans for children based on their individual needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor children's progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Provide emotional support to children and their families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 5 qualification.
  • Valid certification as an Ofsted Registered Children's Manager.
  • Previous Ofsted Management experience.
  • Understanding of the needs of children we look after, understanding of trauma informed care.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature,
Additional Qualifications:
  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
  • Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (required)
