Job summary

Sgs-Care-Ltd is seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a Children’s Residential Home in Leeds. You will oversee daily operations, drive regulatory compliance and lead safeguarding and care planning for children with complex needs.

The role requires a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification, a valid driving licence, and at least 2 years in residential childcare management or a senior supervisory role. You will manage solo and multi-bed homes and lead a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Leadership & management experience in residential childcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulatory standards and safeguarding.
• Must hold Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent.
• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Drive Ofsted regulatory compliance and maintain outstanding inspection standards.
• Lead safeguarding and individual care planning for young people with complex needs.
• Manage solo placement and multi-bed settings, adapting to each young person’s needs.
• Recruit, coach and mentor a high-performing support team.
• Contribute to organisational strategy and quality improvement as the business grows.
