Job summary

Vattenfall, a leading European energy company, invites experienced wind turbine technicians to join our Operations team as a Service Technician. You will perform service and maintenance on WTGs across our sites, lead service teams during annual maintenance, and resolve technical issues on projects.

The role requires mechanical or electrical qualification, wind energy experience, AT status (ideal), strong IT and communication skills, and valid safety certifications (GWO BST, Offshore Medical).

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified as a mechanic, electrician, or similar.
• Electrical background required.
• Experience in wind energy or power generation.
• Authorised Technician (AT) status under WTSR is ideal.
• Strong communication, cooperation, and IT skills.
• Valid safety certifications (GWO BST, Offshore Medical).

Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance on WTGs independently.
• Lead service teams during annual maintenance.
• Resolve technical issues and support special projects.
• Deliver technical training and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards.
• Maintain and inspect personal and team safety equipment.
• Support warehouse operations and major component replacements.
