Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and service wind turbine generators across our sites in the UK. You will perform independent service tasks, lead annual maintenance activities, resolve complex issues, and mentor junior technicians, while ensuring HSE standards are met and records are kept using digital systems.

The role requires an electrical background, wind energy experience, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified as a mechanic, electrician, or similar.
• Electrical background relevant to wind turbine servicing.
• Fluent in English for communication across teams.
• Experience in wind energy or power generation environments.
• Authorised Technician (AT) status under WTSR is ideal.
• Strong communication, cooperation and IT skills.
• Valid safety certifications (GWO BST, Offshore Medical).
