Job summary

Ocean Winds seeks a Project Planning & Controls Associate to own the project planning function for a large-scale offshore wind project, based in Edinburgh. The role requires updating development and construction phase schedules and providing reliable schedule information to support project decisions.

The candidate should have a technical/engineering degree and at least 3 years in planning/controls, with strong Excel skills and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical, engineering, mathematical or numerate discipline.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in project planning, controls or engineering.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the project planning function and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 or similar.
• Lead regular schedule updates, progress measurement and schedule reviews.
• Develop and assess schedule scenarios and analyses for senior management.
• Provide clear schedule reporting and analysis to the project team.
• Coordinate planning information across disciplines to ensure schedule integrity.
