Job summary

A renewable energy company is looking for Offshore Renewable Electrical Technicians to join their team. The role involves maintaining and inspecting offshore wind turbine transition pieces. Candidates should have over 2 years of experience within the Renewable Wind Industry and must be committed to safety practices. The position requires physical fitness as work will be conducted offshore under challenging weather conditions. Local candidates should be able to commute to Lowestoft for a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation starting January 6, 2026.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience as an Electrical Technician in the Renewable Wind Industry.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • Full GWO BST Training required.
  • Must pass OGUK & Chester step Medicals.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain cable trays for electrical systems.
  • Perform routine checks on navigation lights for safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of transition pieces and document findings.
  • Provide auxiliary support to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Identify and rectify outstanding issues during inspections.
  • Assist during weather days onshore as needed.
  • Contribute to teamwork across the Stowen Group.
