Edinburgh City Football Club Limited seeks an WTG Electrical Engineer for a major offshore wind farm project in Scotland. You will prepare electrical scope of works, lead turbine electrical design reviews and manage interfaces between turbine and foundation, ensuring compliance with contractual and industry standards.

• Experience in substation layout design, primary equipment specifications and testing up to 400 kV.
• Good technical knowledge and experience of renewable electricity generation or transmission.
• Knowledge of engineering legislation and industry good practice relevant to substation designs, primary plant and protection.
• Commercial awareness to understand implications of engineering activities and decisions.
• Experience with offshore construction phase preparations and regulatory requirements, frameworks and legal framing.
• Ability to interface with permitting authorities, environmental regulators and relevant statutory stakeholders.
• Experience engaging constructively with authorities, consultees, NGOs, communities, representatives and other stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of electrical scope of works and Client requirements for offshore turbine and foundation contracts.
• Lead on wind turbine electrical design review and approvals.
• Front end engineering design works for turbine foundation electrical systems.
• Manage electrical interfaces between turbine and foundation.
• Collaborate with supplier to ensure design, manufacturing and installation meet contractual and industry standards.
• Knowledge of HV systems within turbines (converters, transformers, switchgear) and LV electrical and cable systems.
• Develop electrical contract documentation including management and preparation of substation and electrical balance of plant contracts and works.
