Job summary

OEG Energy Group seeks Authorised Technicians for offshore wind maintenance on Siemens platforms. This fixed-term role covers preventive and corrective tasks, ensuring compliance with OEM procedures and site instructions in Scottish offshore sites.

You will diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, perform component changeouts, and lead small work packs while coordinating with offshore teams and adhering to strict HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship/technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering (EQF Level 3+ or equivalent).
• Demonstrable offshore wind maintenance experience; Siemens platform exposure preferred.
• Valid GWO BST and GWO BTT qualifications.
• Current offshore medical (e.g., OGUK/ENG1) and fitness assessments.
• Competence working at height and in confined spaces, with strong troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on Siemens offshore wind turbines per OEM procedures and site work instructions.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems; perform component replacement and testing.
• Lead small work packs (WT2) and support major component exchanges under supervision.
