Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) is seeking an experienced Substation Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of Onshore and Offshore Substations and associated grid connection infrastructure for a confidential UK Offshore Wind Farm.

The role involves end-to-end management, collaboration with National Grid, contractors and regulators, and reporting to the Transmission Director. The project office is in London with flexible working to suit project needs.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience delivering high‑voltage electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with offshore wind, transmission or major energy projects.
• Knowledge of UK transmission systems and grid connection processes.
• Experience delivering EPC contracts and managing contractors.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary project organisation.
• Commitment to safe and sustainable project delivery.

Aufgaben

• Lead Onshore and Offshore Substation packages from design to handover.
• Manage engineering, procurement, construction, testing, energisation, readiness.
• Oversee all suppliers, consultants, contractors in Substation scope.
• Coordinate interfaces with offshore cables and National Grid works.
• Ensure compliance with UK transmission requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with National Grid and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor schedule, budget, risks, opportunities, contractor performance.
• Lead project reporting, governance, decision forums.
• Drive stakeholder engagement with authorities, landowners, project partners.
• Promote health, safety, quality during execution.
• Ensure successful commissioning and handover.
