Job summary

A leading energy consulting firm is seeking a Delivery Consultant to oversee commissioning activities for a major offshore wind project in the United Kingdom. The role involves technical support, managing commissioning files, and ensuring safety standards. Ideal candidates have strong commissioning and HVDC systems experience, are autonomous, and excel in communication. This is a full-time position based at the Necton Substation, requiring a commitment to offshore safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong commissioning experience (mechanical + electrical).
• Background with HVDC systems, substations, or marine engineering.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills (English fluency essential).
• Able to work autonomously in a structured client environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Contractor Commissioning activities at Necton ONS sites.
• Provide remote technical support to teams in Dubai and offshore.
• Coordinate and complete the commissioning file.
• Investigate and report on Faults during the commissioning phase.
• Attend SATs and manage ITPs.

Skills

Strong commissioning experience

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of HV Safety Rules

Ability to work autonomously

Background with HVDC systems

Offshore wind or oil & gas experience

Education

IOSH or NEBOSH certification
