Job summary

Civil Works Alliance (CWA) invites applications for a Marine Technical Lead to supervise a marine works section on Sizewell C. The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team, managing subcontractors, and ensuring delivery within time, cost and quality constraints.

Essential is an engineering degree with offshore/marine experience, NEC/CDM knowledge, and strong leadership. The package includes competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC contracts and other forms of contract.
• Ability to identify technical requirements for offshore/marine development and control.
• Ability to review, approve and support programme/schedule.
• Experience reviewing safe systems of work for offshore/marine activities.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team on offshore/marine works.
• Manage subcontractors and subcontracts related to the work package.
• Determine means to satisfy project requirements: time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
• Lead and conduct safety reviews, investigations and trend analyses.
• Oversee quality, documentation, and handover processes for the section.
