Valaris seeks an Offshore Mechanic to lead safety-focused maintenance on drilling equipment. You will identify hazards, implement controls, and ensure compliance with Permit to Work and Isolation procedures while protecting personnel and assets.

You will perform daily checks on knuckle boom cranes, mud pumps, draw works, top drive, mud treatment, and related systems; plan preventive maintenance, maintain records, and support crew with safe operation and timely handovers.

Qualifikationen

• Offshore experience as a Mechanic (minimum 2 years).
• Trained in hydraulic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Completion of mandatory training and certification for Mechanic.

Aufgaben

• Act as safety leader focusing on Permit to Work and Isolation procedures.
• Perform daily checks on drilling equipment and systems.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance with a six-week overview and maintain records.
• Communicate work status during handovers and shift changes.
