Job summary

Ocean Winds is seeking an Electrical Asset Integrity Manager to lead the integrity of HV electrical systems across offshore wind assets. You will define strategies, provide engineering assurance, and oversee inspection, monitoring, and defect management to ensure safe and compliant delivery.

You will collaborate with operations, OEMs, and service providers, champion safety, and drive life-cycle asset management from concept through commissioning and operation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering with asset integrity exposure.
• Experience in offshore wind, HV transmission, or large power infra.
• CEng status preferred.
• Experience in asset management or life-cycle engineering desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain asset integrity strategies for HV electrical systems across offshore wind assets.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering assurance for HV systems.
• Define inspection regimes, condition monitoring, and performance standards.
• Interface with operations, OEMs, and service providers to execute integrity activities.
• Review technical documentation like inspection reports and defect assessments.
• Support failure investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Identify degradation mechanisms and implement risk-based mitigations.
• Support life-extension, obsolescence management, and long-term asset planning.
• Contribute to budgets and integrity-related investment cases.
• Engage with regulators and insurers to support asset compliance.
