Job summary

Ocean Winds is seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to lead electrical engineering support for operational projects. You will manage HV/MV equipment, perform offshore fault analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance to maximise asset availability.

The role requires degree-educated personnel with offshore experience and full GWO training. Edinburgh location with travel to offshore sites is expected.

Qualifications

• HV systems experience in offshore wind, utilities, or renewables.
• Experience with asset management frameworks and risk-based decisions.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead in defining and implementing an Asset Integrity Management Strategy.
• Provide technical support to O&M teams and warranty management.
• Lead troubleshooting and respond to electrical faults or alarms, incl. offshore planning.
• Analyse SCADA data and events to optimise availability and reduce outages.
• Develop maintenance strategies for HV/MV equipment and cables.
• Review inspection results and define corrective actions.
• Interface with OFTOs as required.
• Produce high-quality reports for stakeholders.
