Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an FEA Analysis Engineer to join our Flexible Pipe Systems Engineering team. You will develop simulation models to predict structural response of offshore riser systems and contribute to tender and project execution.

With training provided on role-specific tools, you will perform loading, stress, and buckling analyses, and produce comprehensive reports. You will collaborate across engineering functions and contribute to automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with FEA, numerical modelling or engineering simulation.
• Strong foundation in structural mechanics, stress analysis, dynamic analysis or buckling behaviour.
• Ability to communicate technical findings through reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic models using FEA to simulate offshore structural response.
• Design and analyse flexible riser systems per specifications and standards.
• Assess environmental and operating data for modelling inputs.
• Perform loading, stress and buckling analyses and interpret results.
• Produce technical reports for studies and project execution.
• Support engineering automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
