Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to support offshore wind farm service operations based in Harwich, UK. You will implement EHS policies, collect safety data, and ensure regulatory compliance across on-site teams.

You will lead near-miss investigations, drive corrective actions, and contribute to a proactive Zero Harm safety culture while coordinating with local stakeholders and ensuring robust training and records management.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent level 5/6 EHS qualification is preferable, or willingness to work towards in a reasonable time frame.
• Experience in providing pragmatic EHS guidance in an operational environment.
• Proven ability to work in a high-performance, team-based culture.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report observations of near misses, accidents, incidents and deviations from standards.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental records are maintained and reported.
• Investigate incidents, allocate corrective actions and drive closure.
• Provide advice on legislation, standards and local expectations to operations management.
• Develop EHS inductions and training and promote learning across sites.
