Job summary

EnerMech is seeking a Crane Mechanic for offshore roles in Aberdeen on a 3/3 rotation. You will perform first line maintenance up to 12 monthly PM routines and ensure crane integrity complies with legislation, corporate standards and manufacturer recommendations.

Key duties include maintaining crane availability to client specs, planning spares and resources, carrying out offshore crane maintenance and repairs, and adhering to safe systems of work with clear handover and change-management

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Certificate or recognised apprenticeship.
• Other client specific training will be required.
• Valid UK offshore certificates.
• Previous mechanical experience is essential.
• Experience with cranes offshore is preferred.
• Ability to work on own initiative and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-line maintenance up to 12 monthly PM routines.
• Ensure crane integrity is maintained to current requirements.
• Maintain crane availability to client specifications.
• Carry out offshore crane maintenance and repairs.
• Work in accordance with safe systems of work.
• Identify tools and materials to complete job scope.
• Attend client maintenance update meetings and provide updates.
