Job summary

Atwood Oceanics offshore operations in the United Kingdom seek an experienced Crane Operator to lead safety and crane activities on site, attending pre-tour, post-tour and weekly safety meetings to promote strong safety leadership among the crew.

You will inspect cranes and rigging, enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures, ensure loads stay within limits, train roustabouts, maintain crane records, and monitor sea and weather conditions for safe loading and unloading.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years as a certified Crane Operator with offshore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crane operations with a focus on safety on offshore platforms.
• Attend pre-tour, post-tour, and weekly safety meetings.
• Inspect cranes, slings, and lifting gear; maintain records.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures and load limits.
• Train crew and roustabouts in crane safety and procedures.
• Monitor sea and weather conditions for safe loading/unloading.
