Job summary

AJP Recruitment invites an experienced Control Engineer to join our Control System Team in Offshore Energy. You will design control and automation systems to meet client needs in a professional and timely manner.

You will write specifications, develop PLC code and HMI/SCADA solutions, support commissioning and testing, and take ownership of tasks from design through to delivery within the specified time and budget.

Qualifications

Excellent technical knowledge of Control, Automation and Safety Systems.
Degree/HND in engineering or comparable industrial experience.
Design and programming of control & automation systems (PLC, HMI/SCADA).
Commissioning and testing of industrial control systems.
Experience across the full project lifecycle from design to documentation.
Experience with marine, subsea, oil & gas and renewables sectors.
ISO9001 experience in project-based organisations.
Strong IT skills and familiarity with functional safety standards.

Responsibilities

Write specifications, develop PLC code & HMI/SCADA solutions for a variety equipment.
Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and testing.
Efficiently manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Take ownership of tasks through to successful delivery within time and budget.
Deliver high-quality work in line with our software quality control procedures.
