Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer to lead design and integration of PLC-based control systems for offshore and onshore renewables. You will work with the Technical Authority and project teams to drive innovations and cost efficiencies.

Role is based in the UK with a preference for Glasgow; travel to offshore and onshore sites is expected as part of project support and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in design of PLC-based control systems (hardware and software).
• Knowledge of SCADA platforms and network architectures.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline projects offshore/onshore.

Responsibilities

• Lead/control system design and development from feasibility to handover.
• Coordinate interfaces with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines.
• Draft Employer's Requirements for control systems and support supplier selection.
• Review supplier documentation for compliance with standards.
• Attend FAT/SAT for control systems and SCADA equipment.
• Design/configure PLC-based control systems and networks.
