Job summary

ERM seeks a Principal Consultant to lead Offshore Consents & Post-Consent Compliance across major UK offshore infrastructure projects. You will shape compliance strategies, manage consents, and coordinate regulatory engagement throughout construction.

You will mentor junior consultants and collaborate with developers, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmentally responsible outcomes while supporting ERM's growth in post-consent services.

Qualifications

Experience in offshore consent management and post-consent compliance.
Knowledge of UK offshore consenting frameworks (DCOs, Electricity Act, marine licences).
Experience delivering environmental commitments during construction.

Responsibilities

Lead Environmental Consents Manager and Post-Consent Compliance Manager roles on major offshore projects.
Develop and implement compliance and consent management strategies.
Establish and manage consents, commitments, and obligations registers.
Oversee implementation of consent conditions, monitoring, and mitigation measures.
Coordinate applications for discharge of requirements, planning conditions, licences, and regulatory obligations.
Mentor and develop junior consultants; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
