Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking a Chef/Baker to join our offshore relief/adhoc team mobilising from Aberdeen and Norwich. You will prepare, cook, bake, present and serve food to high standards while upholding Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.

The role requires proven experience as a Chef/Baker, a real passion for food, and exceptional customer service. Offshore certifications such as BOSIET/FOET, MIST, OGUK medical and City & Guilds qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential offshore certifications listed above and the ability to obtain OEUK Offshore Medical Certificate.
• Proven track record as Chef/Baker with a passion for food and high standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cooking, baking and presentation of meals to high standards.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure health & safety policies are followed.
• Maintain food safety and health & safety paperwork and compliance records.
• Ensure equipment is safe, report faults promptly.
• Deliver meals on time and maintain consistent quality for clients.
