Summary
The Office Services Assistant undertakes a variety of tasks to support the busy and growing London office of Sidley Austin. He/she will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Office Services Manager to ensure that the delivery of facilities support to the office is kept to a high level. Maintaining documentation, providing practically support the office and assist in ensuring the office is correctly provisioned.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Sorting and delivering incoming and outgoing post in a timely manner
- To deliver and collect documentation throughout the day
- Collect deliveries made to the firm from the loading bay and accurately log them in to the inhouse system
- Arranging national and international couriers
- Arranging to collection and delivery of confidential waste
- To be responsible for general housekeeping including keeping copy rooms tidy and topped up with stationary, paper, toner and cartridges
- To maintain stock levels for stationary and reprographics consumables and place orders for supplies when appropriate.
- To liaise with building security and the landlord for contractor and engineer access.
- To assist with setting up meeting rooms, to include moving and rebuilding room set ups and moving chairs.
- Ordering business cards for staff and lawyers as and when required.
- Reporting any building or engineering issues directly to the landlord
- Assisting the office services team with internal office moves, to include moving and building desks and furniture items, storage boxes and IT equipment.
- To ensure incoming and outgoing work is delivered within the agreed service level agreements and deadlines are met.
- To work with the Office Services Manager to monitor and record usage and cost of all print/copy related consumables.
