Liphook Golf Club is seeking an experienced and highly capable Office & Membership Manager to join its management team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Secretary, this is a broad and important role with responsibility for the day-to-day office function, membership administration and member communications, while working closely with the Operations Manager and departmental leads across the Club.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership of their areas of responsibility and continually look for opportunities to improve systems, procedures and member service.
Key responsibilities will include:The position forms an important part of Liphook’s longer-term management structure. As responsibilities across the Club evolve, the Office & Membership Manager will provide a strong central office function, supporting the wider management team and helping to ensure that responsibilities are dealt with efficiently and at the appropriate level.
The Club’s bookkeeping, payroll, accounts and management accounts are outsourced and do not form part of the responsibilities of this position. The successful candidate will, however, work closely with the Club’s external finance team, providing the necessary day-to-day liaison and administrative support.
