A cutting-edge science and technology start-up is looking for a proactive and capable Office Manager to support its London team. If you enjoy managing people-focused environments, love logistics and organisation, and want to make a visible impact on team culture and day-to-day operations—this is your chance to join a growing, mission-driven company.

You’ll manage office and lab facilities, lead local culture and engagement initiatives, and ensure the space runs smoothly and reflects the company’s values.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee facilities for office and lab spaces, including vendor and landlord relationships
Organise team lunches, social events, and company culture initiatives
Coordinate general office operations including supplies, post, and couriers
Ensure meeting rooms and communal spaces are presentation-ready
Support health & safety protocols, including hazardous waste handling
Assist with cross-functional administrative tasks and projects as required
Manage workspace layout and optimise for team growth

What we’re looking for:

3+ years’ experience as an Office Manager, ideally in a start-up
Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
Strong communication, both written and verbal
High degree of initiative, ownership, and independence
Friendly and professional presence with a collaborative mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have:

Experience managing hazardous waste or lab facilities
Budget planning for workspace operations
Eye for workspace design and optimisation
