Job summary

Erdington Hall Primary School, part of the Summit Learning Trust, is seeking a motivated Office Manager to lead our busy administration team and lunch supervision. You will oversee the reception, coordinate daily operations, and provide high-quality clerical support while working closely with senior leaders to deliver our trusted educational program.

A background in school administration and staff management is preferred, with training provided to expand your skills within our supportive,

  • Manage day-to-day operation of the reception office and Lunchtime Supervisory team.
  • Ensure provision of effective administrative and clerical support to the academy.
  • Undertake administrative duties to support pupils' needs as required.
  • Be the main contact for the Trust's central functions (HR, Finance and Estates).

About This Role

We require a motivated and experienced Office Manager to manage and support our busy administration team. The role involves responsibility for the overall management of the administration team and lunch supervisory team. Key Responsibilities


  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to support the strategic vision and leadership of the school.

  • Responsibility for the day-to-day operation and management of the reception office and the Lunchtime Supervisory team.

  • Ensure the provision of an effective administrative and clerical support to the academy.

  • Undertake the administrative duties associated with all aspects of supporting pupil's needs as required.

  • Be the key contact for the Trust's central functions (HR, Finance and Estates)



About You

To carry out this role effectively, you must:



  • Demonstrate experience of managing staff and experience of effectively leading an administration function.

  • Ideally have management experience within a school environment, but full training will be given.

  • Be able to liaise and work effectively with a range of professionals.
