Job summary

Erdington Hall Primary School, part of Summit Learning Trust, is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support high-quality teaching and learning and help learners reach their potential.

You will work with teachers in lessons, small groups and 1:1 settings, adapting resources to meet diverse needs and monitoring progress. A proactive, communicative team player with excellent organisational skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Has recent experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Can adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning needs.
• Is a proactive and supportive team player.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning in lessons, small groups, and one-to-one settings.
• Assist teachers with planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities.
• Adapt resources and approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
• Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supervise learners during non-teaching times, including break and lunch where required.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Erdington Hall Primary School. You will work alongside teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning, helping learners to reach their full potential both academically and personally.
