Attic Recruitment Limited is recruiting a proactive Office / Property Assistant to join a private office within a hedge fund in Central London. This is an immediate-start role with temp for a minimum of 6 months and potential to go permanent for the right person.

Permanent options may be available for those on notice. The role supports day-to-day management of residential and investment properties, working closely with Property Directors and assisting with administration and property oversight.

  • Handle invoice processing, cost tracking and budget support.
  • Liaise with service providers and assist household staff with professionalism.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Office / Property Assistant to join a private office within a hedge fund in Central London.

This can be an immediate-start opportunity and would suit someone who is available now and looking to temp for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential to go permanent for the right person. We are also considering candidates looking for a permanent position, so if you are interested in a straight permanent role and are currently on notice.

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential and investment properties, working closely with the Property Directors and assisting with both administration and general property oversight. We are looking for someone with 1–2 years’ relevant experience who is keen to develop their skills within property management or private office administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Property Directors in overseeing a portfolio of high-end private residences and investment properties
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations with trusted vendors and contractors
  • Track service schedules, inspections, and compliance deadlines
  • Maintain property-related files including warranties and utility accounts
  • Handle invoice processing, expense tracking, and budget assistance
  • Liaise with service providers and support household staff with professionalism and discretion
  • Assist with seasonal preparations, property openings/closings
  • Conduct occasional site visits to inspect property conditions and ensure standards are upheld

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years’ relevant experience. Previous experience within property would be a plus but is not essential; a background in a support role as an EA, PA or Assistant would be preferred.You will be highly organised, able to multitask and prioritise effectively, with good communication skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. Discretion and confidentiality are essential. The client is also looking for strong academic credentials, including a minimum 2:1 degree from a top 200 global university and a minimum of ABB at A-Level or equivalent.
