Location: Colnbrook, UK
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Company
Our client is a well-established business in the logistics sector who provides access to products and end to end services that support the transit of international imports and exports. They specialise in E-Commerce, One-Stop Solutions, Express Courier Services, and Cargo Services.

They are now looking for a reliable, detail-orientated Office Administrator to join their UK Head Office in Colnbrook. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and guests.
Facilities & Office Management
  • Arrange servicing, certifications, and remedial works for equipment/machinery.
  • Manage fleet administration (insurance, tax, servicing, repairs, congestion charge etc).
  • Organise business insurances and licences (Fleet, Goods in Transit, Public Liability, etc).
  • Order office and operational supplies (with finance approval).
Human Resources
  • Handle day to day HR administration, escalating to outsourced HR provider when needed.
Audit & Compliance
  • Lead site audits, inspections, investigations, and customer visits (AEO, CAA, ETSF, MOU, ISO).
  • Conduct regular compliance checks on customs entries.
Suppliers & Customers
  • Set up new suppliers/customers following internal processes.
  • Support contract negotiation with suppliers/customers.
Training
  • Coordinate refresher and new starter training in line with renewal dates.
  • Monitor training compliance (including monthly X-ray training).
Health & Safety
  • Arrange statutory risk assessments and safety testing.
  • Log and report incidents/accidents.
IT Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT queries, escalating to outsourced IT provider where needed.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
  • GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational ability.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and proactive with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Desirable:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Knowledge of logistics industry standards and accreditations.
