Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is inviting applications for a twelve month fixed term Oculoplastic fellow post to bolster our large department serving about 1.2 million people. The post collaborates with three oculoplastic consultants across MTW sites, with a varied timetable and exposure to all subspecialty conditions.

It is not a Deanery recognised training post. The successful candidate will join an active oculoplastic service covering lids, lacrimal disorders, periocular tumours and

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching doctors in training and other clinical staff.
• Evidence of CME/CPD in the last 12 months.
• Desirable: CPD diary or portfolio.
• Desirable: teaching experience in oculoplastics.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an active oculoplastic service covering lid malpositions, lacrimal disorders, tumours and orbital disease.
• Work with three consultants across MTW sites and participate in joint clinics and lists.
• Engage in audit, teaching, and CPD activities as part of the role.
