Salary: Circa 28,000

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the exportation of Less than Container Loads (LCL) and Full Container Loads (FCL) shipments via sea freight.

You must have a background in sea freight forwarding operations with a UK forwarder.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete start-to-finish export consignments via sea freight
• Manage the day-to-day running of allocated LCL & FCL movements
• Handle global imports
• Create bookings from the origin
• Provide freight rates, quotes, and pricing solutions for customers
• Track and update shipment statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
• Complete import customs entries via CDS
• Ensure compliance with import regulations
• Develop good working relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, and other branches
• Previous experience in quoting and operations of export ocean freight forwarding is essential

Location: Chelmsford

Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, plus hybrid options

Salary: Circa 28,000
