Ocean Export Coordinator Bristol

Were proud to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established client within the logistics sector who are now looking for an experiencedOcean Export Coordinatorto join their Bristol-based team.

In this key role, youll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth coordination of international ocean freight shipments, working closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle ocean export shipments, from booking to delivery
• Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely movements
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance paperwork
• Maintain strong customer relationships, providing regular updates and problem-solving where required
• Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless service
  
  

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in ocean export / international freight forwarding
• Strong understanding of export documentation and global shipping procedures
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of customs regulations is advantageous
