An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team across Perth & Kinross Adult Community Mental Health Teams.
You will be responsible for the clinical leadership and management of the occupational therapy team, prioritising the day-to-day resources and providing team lead support in inpatient and community settings across the Perth & Kinross Locality.
The position requires a highly motivated individual passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy delivered with compassion and kindness. You should be an inspiring and collaborative leader who values open communication.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist within physical rehabilitation services, possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, and have a confident approach to multidisciplinary team working within an integrated Health and Social Care setting. Leadership and service improvement experience are also essential.
Perth and Kinross Occupational Therapy Service offers excellent formal and informal supervision, supports individual development through performance reviews and learning plans, encourages CPD, and promotes innovative practice.
In line with NHS Tayside's strategic direction, the Allied Health Professions are moving towards 7-day working to improve outcomes and maximize a person-centred, equitable approach to care. All new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7-day service/rota to prepare for a safe and effective 7-day service.
