Exemplar Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Edgewater care home in Wallasey. The role involves delivering senior OT assessments and interventions to maximise residents’ independence, within a supportive clinical team.

You must hold a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered. This full-time/part-time position offers pro rata salary up to £34,875 per year and a range of rewards and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred Occupational Therapy interventions.
• Collaborate closely with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators).
• Be responsible for a clinical caseload.
• Carry out assessments.
• Maintain accurate records for people receiving occupational therapies.
• Promote choice, dignity and independence.
