Job summary

Exemplar Health Care in Preston is seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist (16 hours/week) at Ribble View care home. You will provide specialist assessments and interventions to residents, supporting independence and quality of life.

Join a clinical team to deliver person-centred care, with focus on building independence, dignity and meaningful activities. BSc or MSc in OT and HCPC registration are required.

Qualifications

• You must have a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
• HCPC registration is required to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in a care home setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments and interventions to residents.
• Manage and contribute to a clinical caseload.
• Collaborate with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators).
• Maintain accurate records for residents receiving occupational therapy.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice in daily activities.
