Suffolk County Council in Bury St Edmunds, West Suffolk House, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Flexible Care and Support Team. The role involves high-quality assessments of adults’ needs and developing plans to promote independence and wellbeing.

You will work in a hybrid model with flexible hours, undertake reviews, and help reduce OT waiting lists while potentially supervising and developing junior staff. Apply to be part of our proactive team.

Formación

• A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake high-quality assessments of adults' physical, psychological and environmental needs.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and choice.
• Undertake targeted reviews and contribute to waiting list reduction.
• Support supervision and development of unqualified OT staff.
• Collaborate with external care providers to promote safe moving and handling, optimise care packages and maximise equipment/AT use.
• Provide flexible, responsive OT services across West Suffolk to meet changing demand.
