Elysium Healthcare invites a recently graduated Occupational Therapist to join our Adderley Green Neurological Centre on a 9-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based programmes under supervision, with strong development and supervision opportunities.

You will gain hands-on experience, contribute to care plans for neurological conditions, and participate in training and progression activities across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• UK HCPC registration or currently applied for.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate projects.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, plan and review OT treatment programmes.
• Identify and action referrals in-house and externally.
• Support evaluation of practices, clinical pathways and protocols.
• Maintain contemporaneous records and activity data per standards.

Your responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist will include:

• Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
• Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies
• Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols.
• Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
• A UK HCPC registration or applied for
• Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups

You will be working at Adderley Green, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

The extensive facilities cater for the specific needs of people aged over 18 years who have complex neurological care and rehabilitation requirements. You will working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver truly person-centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything.

Adderley Green offers a full inter disciplinary team to support and enable residents to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs and work towards targeted and monitored goals utilising nationally recognised outcome measures.
