Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is recruiting a Junior Occupational Therapist to join Badby Park in Daventry. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity with strong supervision and a clear path for hands‑on experience in neurological rehabilitation and complex care services.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver person‑centred care, conduct comprehensive OT assessments, and support planning and evaluation of treatment programmes under supervision, helping service users regain

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • UK HCPC registration or applied for.
  • Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups.
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
  • Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
  • Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in‑house, including support staff, and to external agencies.
  • Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at St Mary’s Hospital.
  • Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.

Working alongside a dedicated team you will be working at a service that provides a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

Under supervision, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence‑based group and individual programmes. You will create individual rapports with service users to empower recovery.

As a Junior Occupational Therapist you will be:

Location: Badby Road West, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 4NH

You will work alongside side the multidisciplinary and clinical teams to deliver truly person‑centred services where each individual is at the heart of everything.
