Job summary

Quay View School in Bere Alston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team, working within a multi-disciplinary environment to support students aged 7-19 with ASD and SEMH needs.

You will collaborate with other therapists and professionals, delivering tailored therapeutic interventions, and contribute to staff training and development while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience or strong awareness of ASD and sensory processing disorders.
• Ability to assess, deliver and review therapeutic provisions for young people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and review therapy provision for students.
• Assess and observe to inform treatment planning.
• Share best practices with wider support team and provide on-site training to colleagues.
